DSB Title:
Contains Disticha Catonis (Latin) with Middle English metrical paraphrase in seven-lined stanzas after each distich. Contains also a "L'envoye" to Cato and another poem, "Dietaria." See also library site: http://special.lib.gla.ac.uk/manuscripts/search/detail_c.cfm?ID=35051. NE: MS is paginated; the Glasgow catalogues treat the "L'Envoye" to the Cato Major, beginning at the top of p. 50, as a separate text, while the DIMEV includes it as part of the same text, and I have followed the DIMEV; meanwhile, the DIMEV counts the colophon as a separate fragment of verse, whereas I have followed the Glasgow catalogues in treating it as a colophon to be counted as part of the preceding text
